- This one-woman show starring Wendy Jones pays tribute to the life and musical contributions of one of America’s favorite girl singers, Rosemary Clooney.


Get Outdoors with Extension

- Get outdoors with UF/IFAS Extension Polk County and their Natural Resources program that combines education with recreation for a fun-filled event outside.


Moe Bandy Live in Concert

Venue: Ritz Theatre, Winter Haven
- America’s Rodeo Cowboy, Moe Bandy, joins the Ritz Theatre for one night only.


The Marty Stuart Show

Venue: The Lakeland Center
- The Marty Stuart Show, which features traditional country music in the vein of The Porter Wagoner Show, Flatt & Scruggs, will be at The Lakeland Center on Thursday, January 23, 2014.


43rd Annual Alafia River Rendezvous

- The event provides ample opportunities for members and visitors to learn about the pioneer spirit of our ancestors, how they lived and the skills they used to survive.


Lakeland PigFest
Date: Friday, January 24 – Saturday, January25
Venue: Tigertown, Lakeland
- Join the Lakeland Pig Fest Board of Directors and the over 150 competition barbecue teams for a weekend of good eatin’, good friends, and good tunes to benefit Lakeland-area charities as we kick off the 18th Annual Lakeland Pig Fest.


32nd Annual Camellia Show & Plant Sale
Date: Saturday, January 25
Venue: North Lakeland Presbyterian Church
- There will be many different varieties of camellia plants on sale to help people get started or just add to their collections of camellias.


Beginning Watercolors
Date: Saturday, January 25
Venue: Bok Tower Gardens, Lake Wales
- Learn basic watercolor techniques and paint en plein air in the garden with instructor Cathy Futral.


Dirt Day

Venue: Circle B Bar Reserve, Lakeland
- Learn about owls, bird migration, food chains, and the native plants that birds love at Dirt Day for Grades K-5.


Discovery Saturday

- Children ages 6-12 will discover nature’s joy in the Gardens while playing outside and making new friends, and parents are invited to join their children as they participate in each program.

Dream Lovers, A Tribute to Bobby Darin & Connie Francis

River Ranch Rod Run

- The River Ranch Rod Run car show, considered one of the largest single-day car shows, returns to Westgate River Ranch to celebrate its Silver Anniversary.

- Circle B Bar Reserve’s Community Days take place monthly from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. and are FREE.
- January’s theme is Fine Feathered Friends.


Snowbird Extravaganza

- This fun-filled event includes hundreds of exhibits, keynote speakers, interactive feature areas, and world-class entertainment.
