Twist and Shout

- This multimedia show coming to The Lakeland Center features band members who both look and sound like the original artists themselves as well as being superb musicians in their own right.


Rock of Ages

Venue: The Lakeland Center
- The worldwide party musical, Rock of Ages, features a mix of 28 rockin’ 80’s tunes and will be at The Lakeland Center on Wednesday, January 15, 2014.


27th Annual Antique Engine and Tractor Swamp Meet

Venue: Fort Meade
- The 27th Annual Antique Engine and Tractor Swamp Meet presented by the Florida Flywheelers Antique Engine Club will feature antique tractors and cars, hit and miss engines, food, a flea market, parades, and the antique village.


Jerry Lewis
Date: Thursday, January 16
Venue: The Lakeland Center
- Jerry Lewis, American comedian, actor, singer, film producer, screenwriter and film director, will be at The Lakeland Center on Thursday, January 16, 2014.


Famous Tate Pro Rodeo Classic
Date: Friday, January 17 – Saturday, January 18
Venue: The Lakeland Center
- Experience Polk County’s largest wild-west extravaganza as the Famous Tate Pro Rodeo Classic rides into Lakeland for another amazing weekend.


Spirit of the Buffalo Pow Wow
Date:
Friday, January 17 – Sunday, January 19
Venue: International Market World, Auburndale
- Enjoy Native American dancers and drumming, demonstrations, food, crafts and more as International Market World in Auburndale hosts the annual Spirit of the Buffalo Pow Wow.


Greater Tuna
Date: Friday, January 17 – Sunday, January 26
Venue: Lakeland Community Theatre
- Greater Tuna is the first in a series of four comedic plays, each set in the fictional town of Tuna, Texas, showing at the Lakeland Community Theatre.


Family Fun Day

Venue: Circle B Bar Reserve, Lakeland
- The Polk County History Center will host a special Family Fun Day at Circle B Bar Reserve to celebrate the dedication of Circle B’s new Citrus Heritage Exhibit.
- Family Day activities include tours, booths, orange juicing and more.


Susan G. Komen Polk Race for the Cure

- Join the excitement in 2014 as Polk County welcomes back Komen Florida Suncoast Polk Race for the Cure®.


Winter Dog Day
Date: Saturday, January 18
Venue: Bok Tower Gardens, Lake Wales
- Leashed and friendly dogs are invited to visit the Gardens for one special day featuring a contest, tips, safety, and adoption information, a doggie gift bag and more.
- Fifty percent of the proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Polk County.


Ritz Film Festival
Date: Saturday, January 18 – Sunday, January 19
Venue: Ritz Theatre, Winter Haven
- Polk County’s first film festival showcasing a variety of film types takes place at the Ritz Theatre.


Live at the Gardens! Music at Pinewood Series
Date: Sunday, January 19
Venue: Bok Tower Gardens, Lake Wales
- The Live at the Gardens! Music at Pinewood Series takes place inside the Pinewood Estate and features a monthly concert.


Godspell

Lunch & Learn Lecture Series

Everything is Rosie, a Tribute to Rosemary Clooney
