Heritage Trail Hike and Tram Tour
Date: Tuesday, January 6
Venue: Circle B Bar Reserve, Lakeland
– Join a “heritage” volunteer on a tram tour with a short walk to the Cow Camp to learn about the history of ranching and the citrus industry of Florida as you enjoy the scenic walk and explore the exhibit area.

Guided Bird Hike

Venue: Circle B Bar Reserve, Lakeland
– Join a volunteer guide on a hike through the marsh to learn about the birds of Circle B Bar Reserve.

Downtown Lakeland Food Truck Rally
Date: Thursday, January 8
Venue: Munn Park, Lakeland
– Enjoy a variety of Florida food trucks and their delicious cuisine in Downtown Lakeland on the second Thursday monthly.

Classic Albums Live- Pink Floyd, Wish You Were Here

Venue: The Lakeland Center
– Max 98.3 and Classic Albums Live takes classic albums and recreates them live,on stage – note for note, cut for cut.

City Con

- The event includes entertainment, panel discussions, photo opportunities, cos player contest, gaming, expo, double-creature feature and a Superhero’s Ball.

Chili in the Park

Lake Eva Park, Haines City
– 
This internationally sanctioned chili competition is expected to bring close to fifty chili chefs from across the U.S. to Polk County.
– There will be live entertainment and activities for the family.

Dirt Day
Date: Saturday, January 10
Venue: Circle B Bar Reserve, Lakeland
– Join Circle B for Dirt Day- the Four Seasons of Family FUN series for children ages 5-12 to learn about owls and their habitat and to have a “hoot-of-a-time” .

Don Williams
Date: Saturday, January 10
Venue: The Lakeland Center
– Spend an evening with country music superstar Don Williams at The Lakeland Center.

Lake Alfred Bluegrass Bash
Date: Saturday, January 10
Venue: Mackay Gardens and Lakeside Preserve, Lake Alfred
– Celebrate the City of Lake Alfred’s 100 year anniversary with entertainment that includes six Bluegrass bands.

Nature Fun Day

Venue: Circle B Bar Reserve, Lakeland
– Circle B Bar Reserve will have many bird themed games, activities, and demonstrations set up throughout the preserve.
– Families and bird enthusiasts alike are welcome to “fly” around the center and soar to new heights in learning about birds and their importance to our site and Central Florida.
