Heritage Trail Hike and Tram Tour

Circle B Bar Reserve, Lakeland
- Join Circle B Bar Reserve’s Scott Young on a half mile hike of Lost Bridge Trail where you’ll learn about the history of ranching and the citrus industry of Florida as you enjoy the scenic hike.
- Next hop on the electric tram and take a tour of the Banana Creek Marsh.


Discovery Days Garden Adventure for Youth

Extension Centennial Lunch & Learns

- Bring your lunch, and join the UF/IFAS Extension Polk County for monthly lunch and learns around the county.
- July’s scheduled lunch and learn is: Lifestyles for a Healthy You with Historic Baynard House Tour. 


Family Fun Days

- The history center invites families to enjoy a day of arts and crafts on the second Saturday of each month. 


Lakeland Roller Derby

Venue: SUN ‘n FUN, Lakeland
- The Lakeland Derby Dames is a skater-owned and skater-operated women’s flat track roller derby league that was founded in March 2010 and was also the first all-women’s flat track league in Polk County.
- All home games start at 6:00 p.m. at SUN n’ FUN Hangar E.


Florida Dance Theatre Dance Camp
Date: Monday, July 14 – Thursday, July 17
Venue: Florida Dance Theatre, Lakeland
- The Florida Dance Theatre is holding its 14th annual summer youth dance camp for ages 3-5 and ages 6-10 throughout July and part of August. 


Lunch & Learn Lecture Series

- The Polk County History Center invites guests to bring lunch and listen to a guest speaker on the third Tuesday every month.
- July’s speaker will be Dr. Robert Taylor on Florida in the Civil War.
