- The 2013 American League Central Division Champion Detroit Tigers are ready to tee it up at this 19th annual golf scramble before the Spring Training season begins.


Celtic Woman

Venue: The Lakeland Center
- Celtic Woman, an all-female Irish musical ensemble, will perform at The Lakeland Center on Tuesday, February 25 as part of the 2014 tour.


Detroit Tigers Spring Training

Tuesday, February 25 – Friday, March 28
Venue: Joker Marchant Stadium, Lakeland
- The 2014 spring season marks the Tigers 78th season at TigerTown in Lakeland, extending the longest-standing relationship between a major league team and a current Spring Training host city.
- The 2014 spring season also marks the club’s 49th consecutive season of exhibition play at Joker Marchant Stadium.


Lake Wales Student Art Show
Date: Wednesday, February 26 – Tuesday, March 18
Venue: Polk State Lake Wales Arts Center
- This annual display features the best artwork from students in Polk County schools.
- An ice cream reception and awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, March 1.


Church Basement Ladies

- The fourth installment of the Church Basement ladies series of Musical Comedies, A Mighty Fortress is Our Basement, comes to The Lakeland Center.


Spinney Brothers in Concert

Orange Cup Regatta

- The Open Invitational American Power Boat Association and The Central Florida Racing Club #208 Region 5, have partnered with the City of Lakeland and Polk County Tourism & Sports Marketing to host this annual boat racing event on the “Lake of Records”.


A Night of Romance and Dance with the Flamingos

City to City 5K

Venue: Auburndale/Lake Alfred
- Run through the beautiful Water Ridge community on Adams Barn Road between Auburndale and Lake Alfred in the City to City 5K where all proceeds benefit the Polk Training Center for Handicapped Citizens, Inc.


CrossFit Lake Mirror Open House

Venue: CrossFit Lake Mirror, Lakeland
- Stop by this free open house event featuring a potluck lunch, raffles, and two free workouts spread apart with informative lectures on diet & nutrition, Olympic lifting, as well as what CrossFit is about.


Dr. Seuss Celebration

Venue: Explorations V Children’s Museum, Lakeland
- The celebration will feature hands-on activities based on popular Dr. Seuss books.
- Museum visitors will be able to view Chagall for Children, an introduction to art through the works of Marc Chagall, prior to its grand opening on April 12, 2014.

- See the newest in home improvement products and services, furnishings, accessories, decorating and remodeling ideas, as well as the latest from floor to roof, patio to pool, and deck to dock.
- Jim Parks, host of HGTV’s “New Spaces”, will present “Update My Kitchen, Bathroom and Closet” and “Change My Living Space” on both days of the show.


Rebel Spring Games
Date: Monday, March 3 – Tuesday, March 18
Venue: Auburndale Softball Complex; DiamondPlex, Winter Haven
- More than 110 NAIA, Junior College, Division I, II and III colleges and university softball teams are expected to participate in the 2014 Rebel Spring Games tournament, with more than 500 games being held during March.
